Each event stands alone but you're welcome to attend all of them !What makes certain conspiracy theories feel believable?Why do some claims spread so easily, even when evidence is weak or incomplete?And how do we examine strange ideas without immediately dismissing or blindly accepting them?This session is an interactive critical thinking lab where participants explore a range of conspiracy theories, unresolved claims, urban legends, and misinformation narratives in small groups.Participants will:Draw and analyse curated conspiracy/claim cardsExamine evidence, assumptions, and counterargumentsDebate from multiple perspectivesSwitch sides midway through discussionsVote on credibility using a confidence spectrum rather than simple true/false positionsIt is a structured space to practice how we think, question, analyse, and update our positions.What you’ll take awayA sharper ability to separate claims from narrativesBetter tools to evaluate evidence and uncertaintyImproved discussion and disagreement skillsA more nuanced understanding of how beliefs are formedNo prior knowledge needed.
