Join the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (MOEDI) for the 2nd Annual International Day of the Girl Celebration, a citywide experience dedicated to uplifting a girl’s vision for the future.
This year’s event brings together students, young adults, community leaders, and advocates for mentorship, art, storytelling, and inspiration. Attendees will explore pathways from girlhood to womanhood through intergenerational dialogue, creativity, and wellness.
What to Expect
- Inspiring Panels & Conversations – Hear directly from girls, women leaders, and community voices.
- Mentorship & Networking – Speed networking sessions connect students with professionals.
- Art Gallery – Student art exhibition showcasing a girl’s vision for the future.
- Workshops & Activities – Interactive sessions on confidence-building, tech, sports, and wellness.
- Community Celebration – Performances, local vendors, and a block party atmosphere.
Things to Know
- Who should attend? Girls and young women (K–12, college, and young professionals), families, educators, mentors, and community allies.
- Cost: Free with registration. Donations will be accepted.
- Bring: Your vision for the future, and be ready to connect, create, and celebrate!
