About this Event
Most people walking into this room carry some version of the same feeling: a sense of distance from something they can't quite name. From themselves, from others, from something larger. The instinct is to do something about it -- find a practice, a teacher, a method that will close the gap. This session starts from a different premise. The gap isn't real. You have never left the circle. The separation you feel is not a fact about your reality. It is a lens you are looking through. And you can choose a different one.
Through honest personal story, a guided meditation practice and open conversation, this session explores how the illusion of separation shows up in the most ordinary places -- in the stories we tell about ourselves, the choices we make under pressure, the identity we maintain at the cost of something truer. Using the Enso and the language of your exhibition as our visual anchor, we will sit with one question together: what shifts when you stop trying to find your way back, and simply acknowledge you never left?
This session is for anyone who has felt the distance -- whether they call it spiritual disconnection, a loss of self, or simply the persistent sense that something is off. No particular background or belief system is required. Bring your honest experience and a willingness to sit with a question rather than reach for an answer.
About Meehir Patel
Meehir Patel is a Personal Leadership Coach and founder of Pantheos, based in London. For the past decade his work has centred on one observation: most people know what they value, and most people's choices tell a different story. That gap -- between the self we present and the self our decisions reveal -- is where his teaching lives. He draws on his own experience of disconnection, loss of identity and return to himself as the primary material, and has been part of Kamila CK's creative orbit for over ten years.
The programme is supported by Arts Council England and is part of the UK Mental Health Awareness Week.
