About this Event
How do today’s scientific discoveries become tomorrow’s life-saving cancer treatments?
This free talk reveals how teams at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute work hand-in-hand with clinicians at Addenbrooke’s Hospital to transform fundamental research into new therapies for patients.
You’ll discover the stories behind two Cambridge-developed trials:
- PIONEER - investigating a new treatment strategy for post-menopausal women with breast cancer.
- CRISTAL-APC - a trial combining standard chemotherapy with a new drug for people with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
Join us and explore the journey from breakthrough idea to real change for cancer patients.
