About this Event
This year marks the Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) 100th anniversary! Come celebrate this milestone anniversary by joining a special in-person gathering bringing together members of the social work community to mark a century of social work advocacy, leadership, and care.
Guided by the theme of the year, “Reflecting on Our Past, Reimagining Our Future,” the event offers an opportunity to honour the profession’s legacy while looking ahead to the evolving role of social work in building more just and compassionate communities.
Kindly hosted by the Honourable Senator Tracy Muggli, the celebration will take place on Wednesday, June 3 at 5:00 PM at the Sir John A. Macdonald Building.
Social workers, educators, students, and friends are invited to connect, celebrate this historic milestone, and recognize the impact of social work across Canada over the past century.
