About this Event
The pressures Black males carry are often unseen and unspoken. From expectations to always stay strong, to navigating stress, anxiety, pain and responsibility in silence, many carry heavy emotional weight without the space to name it or the support to release it.
He Leads Vol. 5: The Weight We Carry is presented by The Brotherhood Coalition in collaboration with the Ottawa Black Mental Health Coalition, the Lukasa Library, and the Black Entrepreneurs and Professionals of Ottawa-Gatineau. This session is designed to create a safe and supportive space for Black males to speak openly about silent stressors, reflect on shared experiences and explore healthier ways to cope.
