We are delighted to be hosting The Bridge Family Festival once again - on Saturday 27 July 2024. Entry is free.
Compered by the fantastic Stewart James of East End Radio, there is a packed day of family friendly activities planned for both in and outside The Bridge!
Join us for:
-Three60 dance show - street and contemporary dance
-Tank and Bogie are looking for champions in this family-friendly walkabout show that turns everything into one big game!
-Demos from Scottish BMX School
-Dance from Rebecca Louise Dance School
-Performance from Platform’s ‘Thursday Night Drama’ group
-Glasgow Kelvin College: Musical Workshop
-Free Roller Disco - skates provided, just bring yourself!
-Demos from ‘Golf It’
-@glasgowsport Sport Activities
-Print Clan - free screen printing workshop
-Creative Carbon Futures (Blairtummock and Rogerfield partnership)
- creative workshops
-Art Attack - free visual art workshops
-Free face painting by FabnFunky Faces
-Free modelling balloons from Balloons Gloria
-Free caricatures from Scottish Cartoon Art Studio
-Folk music drop-in taster sessions with Celine Donoghue
-Soundplay installation - sensory fun for little ones!
-Food and drink stalls
-Fire Engine visit from the Scottish Fire Service
There will also be a wide range of community stalls with groups from the local community, including Silver Birch, SAMH Let’s Talk, Craftopia Creative Sensory, FARE Scotland and Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity plus many more.
The Bookbug mascot will also be in The Bridge library with various storytelling sessions for wee ones taking place throughout the day.
