Take a break, breathe deep, and chill out with good vibes at The Breathing Room, your stress-free zone! 2 hour Sessions (Multiple times)
About this Event

📢 PLEASE NOTE: We are running two separate, identical sessions today. Please choose EITHER a Morning Ticket (11am–1pm) OR an Afternoon Ticket (2pm–4pm) when booking.

Welcome to The Breathing Room, a series of events that provide a guided breathwork experience designed to help you pause, recalibrate, and reclaim your calm.

In the rush of daily life, we often forget the most powerful tool we have for health and happiness: our breath. This 4-session journey is designed to help you navigate stress, find inner peace, and build a toolkit for life’s more challenging moments.

What to Expect: Each session is a blend of science and practice. We spend one hour diving into the "how" and "why" of intentional breathing, followed by an hour of food, refreshments, snacks, and community networking.

  • Learn the Science: Understand exactly what happens in your nervous system when you breathe intentionally.
  • Practical Tools: Walk away with simple techniques to manage anxiety and boost energy in real-time.
  • A Safe Space: Whether you are coming alone or with family, our environment is non-judgmental, inclusive, and deeply relaxing.

Why Breathwork?

Breathwork isn't just about "taking a deep breath." It is a fast-track way to communicate with your brain. By changing your breathing patterns, you can:

  • Lower Stress Hormones: Physically signal to your body that it is safe to relax.
  • Improve Focus: Clear the "brain fog" that comes with a busy schedule.
  • Emotional Regulation: Learn how to stay grounded when things feel overwhelming.
  • Better Sleep: Calm the mind before bed for deeper, more restorative rest.

Our Community & Funding (Choosing Your Ticket)

We believe everyone should have access to these workshops. Thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund, we are able to provide free spaces for individuals and families on a low income. If you are above the low-income threshold or in a more comfortable financial position but would still like to join our community, we warmly welcome you! In this case, we kindly ask for a donation, please consider choosing a 'Community Supporter' donation ticket. Your contribution helps Shu of Life CIC continue its work and stay sustainable for the future.

Please select the correct ticket type when booking:

  • Community Supported (Free Access): For individuals and families on a low income. (Unemployed, claiming benefits/ Individual <£20k / Single Parent <£24k / Household <£30k)
  • Community Sustainer (Donation Required): For those who can afford to contribute to the longevity of the project.

We ask that you please be honest when booking, as the free slots are vital for ensuring those who need it most can gain access. Thank you for your integrity!
