About this Event

Do you love to sing, but only in the car or at home? Or maybe you have never thought of yourself as a singer at all. Community Sing is for you!
This joyful gathering invites people of all voices and all comfort levels to come together and sing as a community. We will learn one song together, step by step, and move into a powerful, big sing moment where the entire room joins in. No pressure, no solos, no experience needed. Just real people, real connection, and the joy of lifting your voice alongside others. The experience is led by Jason Clark, Executive Director of the Tennessee Mass Choir, and Emmy-Nominated Artist, songwriter, and producer Markevius D. Faulker, who will create a welcoming space where everyone can participate with confidence.

Community Sing opens In This Place 2026: This is Memphis, an annual citywide season of culture, community, and capital rooted in the spirit of the 1968 Memphis Sanitation Workers Strike and powered by The Big We. Throughout the season, Memphians gather to connect, share stories, and imagine what our city can become when we show up for one another. This first gathering sets the tone by reminding us that everyone belongs and every voice matters.

RSVP now and bring your voice.
