About this Event
About the workshop:
Welcome the arrival of Spring and Summer and learn how to paint your own botanical bouquet using watercolour during this 2 hour art workshop.
Taryn will demo the magic of watercolours and how to use specific techniques to create different looks of various flowers and greenery as a starting point. She will show you how certain brushes can easily create petals or leaves.
You’ll put these techniques into practice to create your own Spring/Summer bouquet and learn how to create expressionistic, bold and colourful flowers with the spontaneity and direct painting that occurs with watercolours. You'll also learn how to add additional effects and details using other medias after the watercolour bouquet has dried. Reference photos of flowers will be available to show different floral varieties and as inspiration.
