The BAT is an advanced format piece that takes place entirely in the dark! Working with instructor Chris Ulrich, the class will focus on ensemble building by developing the BAT as a performance piece, loosely based off of the Harold. The BAT is filled with amazing soundscapes, and sound cues to generate themes, ideas, and concepts to associate off of and create a performance piece of the mind for an audience. The piece takes place completely in the dark. The BAT gives you, the improviser, the opportunity to sharpen your improv skills, increase fearlessness and decrease mental limitations that may be in the way of elevating your performance. It will call on you to marshal every improv skill you have and push you to grow further.
