In this workshop, we’ll snake and swirl to the cinematic music of “Trishna’s Waltz” by Shigeru Umebayashi. Inspired by films and belly dancers from the 30’s-60’s, we’ll incorporate movements and combinations stylized in the uniquely fabulous Golden Era style. Be prepared to bring your drama and grace!By the end of this workshop, you’ll shimmy away with a 2.5 minute choreography that you may set to the stage, or adapt and use as you see fit. This will also be a great choreography for incorporate your own veil work into. This workshop is recommended for Intermediate 1 and above.
