Since 1991, Eddie’s Attic has been one of America’s premier intimate live music venues — a listening room where cell phones are silenced and the songs take center stage. Located in Decatur, Georgia, a small artist-friendly town within metro Atlanta, the Attic draws fans and artists from around the world with its superior acoustics and legendary atmosphere. More recently, Eddie’s has developed a serious jazz program featuring premier local and touring musicians — artists like Brad Mehldau, Cory Henry, Kenny Banks Jr., Leon Bridges, and Thee Sacred Souls have all graced the stage.
Justin Osborne has been performing as “Susto” since 2013, when he formed a collective of fellow musicians and artists in coastal Charleston, South Carolina. Now a bona fide emissary of alt-rock and a treasure to the indie crowd, a lifelong calling—coupled with a cosmic push of serendipitous happenstance—led to his latest venture: Susto Stringband, joined by Americana vocalist Clint Roberts, clawhammer banjoist Helena Rose, and upright bassist Joey Brown (Holler Choir).
