The Art of Giving: A Creative Benefit for Lotus House

Join us for a fun, creative day supporting Lotus House! This unique event combines painting, sound healing, community, and giving back into one unforgettable experience.

LOCATION:
Exact location TBD...it may be at the Lotus Chic Thrift Boutique or it may be at the Children's Village of Lotus House.

Both locations are in teh general Overtown/Allapatah areas.

What to Expect:

• Guided Paint Party: Dive into painting partner silly portraits with all art materials provided — no experience needed! Get ready to paint your partner...or someone you love! Everyone needs their own ticket, so bring a friend, coworker, or loved one and create together.
• Sound Healing Session: Relax and recharge with a 25 minute sound healing experience. Bring a yoga mat to lie down and fully enjoy the session...or choose to sit at one of the tables for the open studio experience, where you will free play with the watercolors provided during the sound healing! Its a very unique and creative approach to taking in the relaxing sounds.
• Open Studio: Explore your creativity at our tables with watercolors and paints, even if you don’t join the guided session... this will be available during the sound healing session.
• Clothing Swap: Give and take gently used clothes. We suggest bringing 1-3 pieces, although it isnt required to join in on the swap.
• Urgent Needs Drive: Please bring one or more of the following:
• Raffle & Surprises: Participate for a chance to win prizes while supporting a great cause.

Materials & Snacks:

• All painting supplies are provided, including paints, brushes, canvases, and watercolors.
• Simple snacks and beverages will be available to keep your energy up. Bringing snacks to share is optional and welcomed!

What to Bring:

• Yoga mat (optional) for sound healing
• Your creativity and sense of fun!

This is a ticketed event and every dollar supports Lotus House, LM4 Hearts In Action community art initiatives and Global Kinship Center's LM4 Legacy Project and team fundraising efforts. We stand for a world that is loving, powerful, compassionate, abundant and free. Come ready to paint, play, and give back!

Info: As you arrive, drop off your items for the collection of urgent needs and other items for Lotus House! Get yourself your raffle tickets to participate in the drawing later. Settle in, seated across from your friend/partner/loved one.

Info: Sit across from your friend/partner/loved one and paint a silly portrait of them! Release perfection and build connection through play, fun, and being creative.

Info: You can choose to either lay on your yoga mat or to play with the watercolor paints and get creative while being immersed in the relaxing sound bath session. This is the optional open studio portion of the event.

Info: This is the exciting part where you get to see if your name gets pulled for a gift! There will be a wide variety of high value items being raffled- from 1:1 coaching, to private consultations for entrepreneurs, to an entry to a 6 week online creative course and so much more!
