The ABC's of the ATL - A Spelling Competition

The ABC's of the ATL Spelling Competition is BACK!

The first one was so good, we had to do it again. Get ready for Atlanta's most exciting community spelling event. As the new school year kicks off, let's cheer on our youth, challenge ourselves, and go all the way - one letter at a time!

This isn't your average spelling bee. With three divisions, there's a place for every speller — young, old, and everyone in between.

📚 Categories span everyday vocabulary, money smarts, entrepreneurship, and all things uniquely ATL.

👶🏽 Elementary Division: Grades K–6

👩🏾‍🎓 Middle & High School Division: Grades 7–12

🧠 Adult Division: 18+ and ready to shine

📍 Where: The Gathering Spot, Atlanta, GA

📅 When: Saturday, July 25, 2026

⏰ Time: Doors open at 9:00 AM

🎉 Who Can Compete?

Learning doesn't stop with age, and neither does the competition! We're welcoming youth and adults from across metro Atlanta to take the stage. Students from public, private, and homeschool settings are all welcome, as are adults ready to prove their spelling chops. Space is limited, so register early!

🏆 What's at Stake?

Winners in each division take home prizes, trophies, and bragging rights as the reigning ABC's of the ATL Champion!
