The Life Enhancement Charitable Foundation (LECF), founded by Herb and Felicia Gray, is thrilled to announce the 13th annual Gray Holiday Ball. A once small, philanthropic dinner party hosted at their home has now flourished into a nationally renowned event with over 1,300 attendees!

As the hosts, Herb & Felicia aim to enhance the holiday season with an elegant event, close the year with the spirit of giving, and pay it forward for the new year ahead. Your patronage will ensure that the Gray Holiday Ball remains successful in funding community programming for those in need. As notable philanthropists in the Charlotte community, Herb & Felicia have raised over $1.5 million for various local charities and in 2009, LECF was started to enhance the ability to expand their charitable giving.
LECF provides life skills training and critical resources to underserved youth, families, and the community-at-large. As part of our commitment to support the total person, we provide human-centered mental health services tailored to the needs of the individuals and families that we serve.
With like-minded missions, LECF is proud to partner with Block Love CLT, the non-profit benefactor of the Gray Holiday Ball.
Block Love CLT, led by Executive Director, Deborah Phillips, operates a Day Service Center and participates in community grassroots outreach throughout Charlotte, serving our houseless neighbors every single day. Since 2020, they have provided over two million meals and counting! This includes sending supplies to Northlake, Brookshire, N. Tryon, and Sugar Creek neighborhoods; offering free grocery giveaways every 2nd and 4th Saturday and preparing daily evening meal service in Uptown. Their holistic approach provides access to employment and education opportunities, treatment for mental health and substance abuse, and adequate and safe housing. They even expanded their reach to Atlanta, Houston, and Jacksonville!
