Sunday Evening Meditation - second Sunday of every monthAre you looking for a friendly meditation community to meet up with to learn, develop and share your meditation practice?
The Tergar Edinburgh Meditation Community meet at the Salisbury Centre regularly once a month, and we follow the Joy of Living curriculum, based on the book and teachings of Joy of Living written by Mingyur Rinpoche.
Everyone is welcome to attend:
The Joy of Living teachings have been developed in a way to make them accessible to everyone: both beginners and those with experience of meditation and mindfulness.
Sessions include guided meditations focusing on mindful awareness and compassion. We have time for some for small group discussions and occasional short teaching videos from Mingyur Rinpoche.
Where: We meet at The Salisbury Centre, 2 Salisbury Rd, Edinburgh EH16 5AB
Time:
Second Sunday of every month.
Doors open at 5.45pm.
Session starts promptly at 6.00pm.
We end at 7.30pm. Then there is time to have a chat, cup of tea and a piece of cake.
Suggested donation for in person sessions is £4.
(If finances are an issue right now, please do not let that stop you from attending)
Accessibility: Currently, there one flight of stairs to access the venue space we use.
But if you would like attend, please let us know in advance if you use a wheelchair or have other mobility needs.

Tergar Edinburgh Meditation Community is based on the teachings of Mingyur Rinpoche and Tergar International. Although rooted in his lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, the group is non-religious and open to people of all faiths and none.
