With the theaterplay Third Bank Terceira margem/Derde oever), Carlos Lagoeiro establishes a dialogue with the short story The Third Bank of the River by writer João Guimarães Rosa. Lagoeiro returned to the region where he was born and retraced a journey along the São Francisco River 41 years later. On his first trip, he was six years old. During this experience, the artist collected objects and stories linked to the territory of his childhood.
