About this Event
Tending the Mother: Unseen Grief
There are forms of motherhood that live quietly beneath the surface…
unspoken, unseen, yet deeply felt.
This circle is a space to gently honor the mothers who carry loss in their hearts. Whether through miscarriage, abortion, or early infant loss. For many, this grief has not had a place to land. It may have been held in silence, wrapped in complexity, carried alone, or a feeling of being deeply alone.
This gathering offers a soft, intentional space to set that weight down, even just for a moment, to be witnessed. Those wounds live with us, a baby’s spirit is felt, and it is a sacred gift to honor that.
We will move through a guided experience of remembrance, connection, and gentle release. Through meditation, ritual, and shared presence, you will be invited to honor your baby/babies in a way that feels meaningful to you. There will be space to create a personal altar, to express what has been held inside, and to tend to your heart with care.
This space is held by someone who has experienced two instances of grief surrounding this wound. She understands the weight and complexity this kind of loss can carry.
Please note: This is a spiritually-oriented healing circle and not a clinical therapy group. While the space is held with care and intention, it is not a substitute for mental health treatment, counseling, or crisis support. If you are currently needing therapeutic or clinical care, additional support from a licensed professional is encouraged alongside this offering, and I am more than happy to offer referrals to therapists.
