The old ways are calling us..
Tell Us A Story Vancouver — A Night of Connection
Doors open 6.00pm, show starts at 6.30pm!
There was a time when stories were how we learned, how we remembered, and how we created our world. Before books, podcasts or scrolling. There were people gathered in a circle… and one person with a story.
This month, we’re bringing that ancient rhythm back to Vancouver.
Tell Us A Story Vancouver is a community storytelling night — a space where teachers, entrepreneurs, wanderers, creatives, and everyday humans can come sit together and share the moments that made them who they are.
The theme for this gathering is Connection
Connection to old friends or family. New sparks of connection. Connection to the land, community, your ancestors. All our relations!
Your story can come from anywhere:
– Something that happened in your own life
– A story from your country or culture
– A tale someone once told you
– A classic myth or folk story you want to retell in your own voice
If it shaped you… if it stayed with you… if it wants to be spoken — bring it.
This is about sharing the gift of a story. It’s about remembering what humans have always done: create meaning by sharing with one another.
Come and tap into this ancestral tradition.
Apply if you feel the spark to share something.
You are more than welcome here.
If you’re planning to come, we recommend grabbing a spot early.
Storytellers come free + get to bring a partner too!
Come be part of something ancient coming alive again.
