Teacher Program - Intensive

Our intensive was designed for those who have limited time availability but are passionate about becoming dance teachers, regardless of dance style preference. We will dive in many subjects on our teaching method that will give you the right tools on your journey of becoming a dance teacher for both adults, teenagers and/or children.

On 04 hours intensive we will cover:

• Methods for Effective Instruction

• Class Structure and Lesson Planning

• Oratory Skills for Dance Teachers

• Effective Communication with Students

• Classroom Management Strategies

• Music Selection and Analysis

• Basic Choreography Creation Techniques

• Dealing with Multiple Audiences and Teaching in Group Settings

• Evaluating Student Progress and Providing Feedback

• Building Confidence, Creating a Positive Dance Environment

Besides that the participants of our Intensive will receive additional bonus material:

• PDF Book of Games for the Classroom: endless material to use on your classes, valuable tool for any instructor, regardless the style
• Model of contract: to use with your future clients, to make sure you're protected - specially useful for independent instructors; it will also look more professional and build more trust on your work

by believing in our teaching method and to make sure we have the best quality and we know exactly the work of who we are hiring, we only hire teachers via exceptional invite and our courses

By attending this course, you will have the chance to be invited to working at the Baile Project, therefore, gaining the change to receive back the investment you are making on this course in a short period of time

The ones that are not immediately invited, as well as all participants of our teaching program, will be invited to our private networking group, where we send work opportunities for dancers, dance teachers, and other work opportunities in the Netherlands and with the Baile Project connected to the Creative & Entertainment Industry

The Teacher

Anna Marques is Actress, Dancer, Teacher,Entrepreneur and the founder of the Baile Project.

Holding a bachelor degree in Performing Arts by the University of Brasilia - UnB - Brazil and additional professional training in Urban and Latin dance, Anna works professionally on the Creative Industry since 2015

As instructor, Anna is passionated about the mastering art of teaching; having 10 years of teaching experience both adults, teenagers and children, Anna created a teaching method of her own, with strong work ethic, where body-shaming and shady competition has no place in the classroom;

The reason for this approach comes from her personal experience in the industry, facing both sides of the instructor and the student; the amateur dancer and the professional dancer, the actor and the director - creating a method that allows the student to learn on a fun and safe environment, using theatrical games and dance techniques

Anna has an extensive portfolio as instructor, having experience teaching: dance classes, acting classes, languages classes, musicality classes and business related mentorships

Her experience as instructor have crossed many borders; making a business out of it; teaching in Brazil and many Countries Europe in the languages of Portuguese, English, Spanish and Dutch
