About this Event
Description
Bethel Rotary invites you to taste teas from around the world while learning about their 50+ years of sponsoring international Youth Exchanges.
If you are a student or the parent of a student who is interested in going on an exchange during high school, a family interested in hosting a foreign student during their Rotary Youth Exchange, or just curious about this aspect of Bethel’s history, please join us! We will try Argentinian mate, Japanese matcha, Indian chai, and Middle Eastern mint teas and other refreshments while we hear stories of students who have traveled the world, building international peace through cultural understanding.
This session will offer a mix of stories from past and current youth exchanges and information about how you can get involved with Rotary’s Youth Exchange program. If you'd like to take direct action to enhance global peace and intercultural understanding, or if you want to learn more about this incredible opportunity for yourself or your children, we hope you will join us. Be ready to be inspired!
