Description
In this class we will learn about home modifications, what they are, and how to go about implementing them. We'll look at high-risk fall areas in the home and some low-tech measures that you can take to help you age in place safely; the advantages of implementing home mods, including saving money, planning for chronic or progressive disease, intergenerational living, and "visitability."
If you are interested in safely aging in place yourself, if you are a caregiver for older adults, or if you are living with a chronic or progressive disease, this class is for you.
