This full day, hands-on TD Snap workshop is designed for clinicians, educators, and support teams who want to build strong, practical skills in programming, customisation, and feature use across all TD Snap page sets. The session begins with an overview of TD Snap’s key page sets—such as Core First, Motor Plan, Text, Aphasia, and Express—and explores how different vocabularies support a wide range of communicators. Across the day, participants will learn how to navigate and adjust settings, access accommodations (including touch, switch, mouse, and eye gaze options), and edit TD Snap at every level—from whole system settings down to individual button actions, style, linking, and hidden features. You’ll discover powerful built-in tools such as the whiteboard, YouTube Player, Boardmaker Player, symbol editor, visual supports, and integrated web search, plus how to create and print low tech pages directly from TD Snap for classroom, therapy, and home use.
The workshop includes guided practice, collaborative problem-solving, and time to explore features relevant to the people you support. Participants will be encouraged to attend with specific clients or students in mind, allowing you to apply what you learn immediately to real communication goals. With opportunities to create pagesets, adjust layouts, try alternative access, explore data tracking, and customise content, this session is ideal for anyone wanting to confidently use TD Snap beyond the basics and unlock its full potential
