This short, practical session introduces the Boardmaker Player integrated within TD Snap, giving you a clear understanding of what it is, what’s included, and how to access readymade interactive learning activities for the clients or students you support. The Boardmaker Player allows you to run preloaded Boardmaker activities directly inside TD Snap, including accessible games, interactive calendars, math tools, visual supports, and curriculum-aligned samples from programs like Core First Learning, Reading Avenue, and Expedition Education. You’ll also learn how to explore and add additional activities from Boardmaker Community Groups, such as eye gaze activities, emergent literacy sets, seasonal resources, and more.
During the session, we’ll walk through:
- What the TD Snap Boardmaker Player is and how it integrates with your myTobiiDynavox/Boardmaker login
- What activities are available (preloaded content + Boardmaker Community content)
- How to access and launch activities from the integrated library
- How to add activities from your Boardmaker account into TD Snap using the Snap Activities folder
- Tips for setting up activities for offline use, troubleshooting access, and supporting different communicators’ needs
