TBBL presents, GET NUDE V.: Juke Joint

For the 5th year in a row, Tampa Bay Black Lesbians brings you the best Pride party of the year! DJ Donnie aka DonRoc will be spinning all night for the biggest gathering of beautiful Black Queer women of all ages, shapes and sizes in the region. This year, for the 1st time ever we are moving to Tampa and an incredible Black-Owned venue! There will be music all night, the kitchen will be open to order the best soulfood in the town, access to the cigar lounge, a full bar with drink specials and TBBL specialty drinks.

Every year our Pride party celebrates community but it also highlights CULTURE. Through our themes, we've celebrated the many beautiful shades of Brown we represent, Queer New Orleans culture and now the legendary Juke Joint. Juke Joints flourished in Black communities in the Southeastern US in the late 1800's and early 1900's. They were a place we could eat, drink, laugh, dance, enjoy the music, be with community and be FREE. This pride season we celebrate that freedom and our ability to find both each other and JOY through the darkest moments of American history. #JOYisResitance

As with all TBBL events, Black women are centered but the entire Black and Brown LGBTQIA+ community is invited. A King and Queen of the Juke will be crowned and those are ungendered titles. Anyone can be a Queen and everyone can be a Kang that night!
