Taste of the Junction 2026 is a one-day outdoor public market in Toronto’s west end, taking over the Green P and No Frills parking lots (Pacific Ave at Dundas St W) on Saturday, June 27, 2026 (11:00 AM–7:00 PM).Taking place as Toronto welcomes the world for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, the event aligns with Toronto’s Host City theme, “The World in a City,” and celebrates the neighbourhood’s diverse cultural communities through inclusive storytelling and placemaking.
Spend the day browsing 35+ curated vendors, discovering local makers, and enjoying standout food and drink from Junction favourites. The site comes alive with DJ music and pop-up moments that make it easy to linger, snack, and play.
A signature feature of the event is Passageways, a series of five immersive, interactive cultural installations created by local artists and collectives. Each Passageway transforms a 10x10 tent into a walk-in “small world” designed for exploration and photography, with a clear hero photo moment that invites visitors to step inside and capture the experience.
Passageways spotlights five of the Junction’s largest cultural communities: British, Black (African and Caribbean heritage), South Asian, Chinese, and Portuguese. Each installation is designed to be tactile and accessible, featuring at least one touchable element and a short audio guide accessed by QR code.
