Task & Toast is a recurring, structured social experience for people who want to be productive and still enjoy a night out.
This is a space to finally handle the things you have been putting off, whether that is applying for jobs, paying bills, planning goals, organizing your life, or resetting your week . You get dedicated time to focus, followed by intentional social time to connect.
How the Evening Flows
30 minutes | Arrival & Introduction
Arrive, grab a drink or food from Shanklin Hall’s bar, and settle in.
We will kick off with a brief introduction to set intentions for the night.
Happy Hour Specials:
- $10 cocktails and wine
- $8 mocktails
- Food available for purchase
1 hour | Power Focus Hour (Starts at 6:00 PM)
This is intentional, distraction-free work time.
No talking. No networking. Just focus.
Work on anything that helps you move forward, including:
- Job applications
- Bills or admin tasks
- Goal setting and life planning
- Side projects or personal to-do lists
Guests who complete their tasks most efficiently may receive a prize.
After | Live Music & Networking
Once focus time ends, the energy shifts.
Enjoy live music, relaxed conversation, and organic networking.
