This session is in collaboration with dancer, facilitator and movement director: Morgaine Ann De Leonardis.
Tara will open the workshop with a warm up and guided breathing exercises.
Morgaine will then teach her signature FLUID FLOORWORK/SOFT SPIRALS:
This creative and restorative approach to floorwork and dance welcomes all who are interested. We will use imagery to inspire our movements, working with both improvisation and movement phrases to learn and investigate within. We will move close to the ground and dive deep into our relationship to the pulls of gravity.
Movement in this class is inspired by human’s relationship to the natural world and invites us to experience our own bodies as nature.
Tara will close the workshop with a guided meditation on the selected card and a chance to share insights.

More about Morgaine:
Morgaine Ann De Leonardis is a movement artist working as a facilitator, choreographer, director and movement director. De Leonardis’ teaching pedagogy is centred around a welcoming atmosphere that lovingly challenges participants to be present, relate to their surroundings, move with intention, and to be brave. She’s been teaching open classes for 2 years and is a co-director of COUP: a dance-film training company where she guides dancers through expressive and technical growth all while preparing to make a dance film. She is passionate about movement and experiences the studio as a sacred space to be bold, take risks, fail, learn and grow.
