Mar del Plata, Argentina 1975.
Actor, dancer, choreographer, painting art.
He began in 1989 with the studies in Contemporary dance, Folclore, Choreography and Corporeal Expression. and with the deep study in Tango in 1994.
Where immediately and permanently studied with the top Dance teachers and musicians of that glorious decade in Buenos Aires.
n 1997 he began his interest in teaching Tango and performing in shows with live orchestras like Julio Davila, Oscar Basil. Argentino Ledesma,Ruth Durante, Cacho Castaña, Sexteto mayor, Ruben Juarez.
His most important dance partners: Juana Sepulveda and Roxana Umpierr.
He has performed in Tango shows and regular classes in Argentina from 1997 to 2006. Mar del Plata, Rosario, Buenos Aires, Bahia Blanca, La Plata, Tandil, and many more places.
In Europe from 2006 to 2020 in Spain, Portugal, Marroco,France,Greece Italy,Belgian, England, Scotland,Norway, Ireland.
In Ireland from 2006 to 2022 in Dublin, Galway, Cork, Limerick, Belfast.
It only makes sense to learn Tango DANCE simultaneously studying the movements, musicality, connection with the other. The history and cultural aspects.

Johan Stayn
For many years Johan has been an active member of our tango community and has made a great contribution to Irish and Dublin Tango, not only as a dancer but also as a Tango DJ, photographer, organiser and friend. For some time he was running a successful Milonga "Vida Mia" and in 2010 initiated the very popular bandstand Milonga in St. Stephen's Green which was then run by DATS up to 2019.
