Groups can explore a life size pirate ship replica and artifacts, a life sized cabin they explore, and much more.
It is a fun and interactive way to learn about Florida's History, from pirates and shipwrecks to Spanish explorers and settlers

The Tampa Bay History Center proudly provides museum themes that closely follow the Florida Department of Education State Standards, and incorporate numerous benchmarks into their presentations that are tied to Florida History curriculum.
When:
Monday, March 17, 2025
Starts at 10:15am - There will be a 75 minute guided tour and 30 minute scavenger hunt.
Everyone is welcome to stay as long as they like.

Experiences:
1- Guided Tour for 4th -6th graders
The tours will vary, based on the ages of the kiddos. Grades 4th-6th may enjoy a 75 minute tour designed for their level.
All tours are fun-filled, interactive, and engaging for kids. Using hands on exploration, the museum utilizes a combination of exhibits, films and activities for the group.
2- Scavenger hunt for all ages-
The museum offers a scavenger hunt designed for our group. It takes 20-30 minutes to complete on each floor (there are 3 floors).
*Chaperones-
Chaperones are welcome and encouraged. During the tour, it is encouraged that there be one parent or less per student. We have 15 student spots available for the tour.
All adults and family members are encouraged to join. However, the tour is only available for 30 people total. We encourage families to tour the museum and complete the scavenger hunt, if not partaking in the tour.
Lunch:
Picnic lunches and boxed lunches are available for PRE-ORDER through the Columbia Cafe that is located in the museum.
If you would like a boxed lunch, they must be reserved by March 7, 2025.

Mondays tend to be cruise ship days. This being said, cost for parking may be higher on such days if you do not reserve parking ahead of time.
Typically, it costs $12/day if reserved ahead of time.

1- Leave bags or large tote bags outside of the galleries
