Talk, Listen, Connect is an initiative we’re running in conjunction with Compassionate Communities UK. We know that loneliness makes people ill, both physically and mentally, but sometimes it can be hard knowing how to help somebody who’s struggling.
It can be difficult knowing what to say or do, but with the right support most of us can help people connect with others in their community. We’re here to help.
TLC aims to support as many people as possible, building skills and confidence to make a difference in their community, workplace and neighbourhood.
Our free local 2 hour workshops include:
✅Peer discussion led by a Princess Alice Hospice session leader about being supportive of someone who is grieving
✅Introduction to the role of TLC connectors
✅Explanation of how we can all be part of this
✅How the impacts of TLC can resolve problems of loneliness and isolation
✅The opportunity to become a TLC connector in your local community
At the end of the session, you’ll receive a badge to show you’re part of the movement.
