Friends and family of Max Kamin-Cross have teamed up with the DC Abortion Fund (DCAF) again this year for “Taking it to the Max," a fundraiser for DCAF and a loving tribute to Max. Max was a force in the DC community and a major advocate for progressive causes, including abortion access, throughout his life.The need for abortion funding never stops and community organizations like DCAF are a critical resource for so many when our systems fail us. DCAF has been around for thirty years and survived hostile administrations, the overturning of Roe, national funding cuts, and more. You can count on DCAF to be here, funding abortions, no matter what.
Join us on Saturday, April 5th to celebrate Max and raise funds for DCAF. We’ll have good drinks, great music from girl-powered pop rock band Massie and local cover band After the Party, a silent auction full of items from local businesses, and more!
All donations to DCAF, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Each purchase will have a small processing fee.
