About this Event

Whether you are a budding business owner or you are growing a business, knowing where to find what you need is important for survival. The resources available across Tampa Bay are phenomenal. National resources you can use locally, equally so. Rosie Lee, Action Zone co-founder and chief operating officer, leads this discussion on entrepreneurial resources that will make a difference in your business and professional life.

You will leave the workshop with a list of local and national resources as well as online and local platforms to begin taking action immediately.

The workshop is being held onsite at Hillsborough County Entrepreneur Collaborative Center in Ybor City. This is one of the critical topics for your business that you cannot afford to miss.

About your facilitator:

Rosie is a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Action Zone, Inc. an entrepreneur support organization exclusively serving military community entrepreneurs.

A serial entrepreneur since she was very young, Rosie’s business endeavors include a real estate brokerage, a food truck, and a mobile DJ business. With a dozen or so miscellaneous enterprises in between, she was part of the gig-economy before the phrase became a movement, working as a virtual assistant, freelance writer, grant writer, and communication stylist. Rosie is a true entrepreneur with a lifetime of experience recognizing and acting on opportunities to serve the common good.

She is also the owner of The Notary Place, a professional Florida notary public. In addition to notary services, Rosie provides business startup education, support, and mentorship to notaries establishing and growing their own notary business. She has been a facilitator and mentor with AARP Foundation’s Work for Yourself @ 50+ since 2019 serving seniors embarking on their encore careers as business owners.

Maximizing her connections of her ever-growing network of business and industry experts eager to assist new business owners reach their own success as entrepreneurs, Rosie knits experts and entrepreneurs together to create a robust community providing education, networking, mentorship and subject matter expert guidance.

Rosie was named the 2019 TiE Tampa Bay Social Entrepreneur of the Year and has been an awardee of the Fulfill Your Destiny Business Grant. She is a certified Ice House Entrepreneur Program facilitator from the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative and a certified CO.STARTERS facilitator. As a workshop facilitator and keynote speaker, Rosie facilitates classes and workshops throughout the Tampa Bay region.
