Swish - Clothes Swap and DJ Set

At Banana Block this Thursday, you're invited to relax and refresh your wardrobe sustainably by exchanging quality pre-loved clothing, shoes, accessories and in this case art and home décor too. We're hosting a Swish – Clothes swap and DJ.

Our Artist in Residence is shaping a new programme exploring creative liberation and collaboration. You're invited to come on down, reinvigorate your style, ignite your creative chi, enjoy a drink, snack, hang out and discover what’s emerging.

We advise you to book your space in advance to ensure quality organisation. Everyone will have a table or rail where they can display their items - we recommend displaying 5-12 items - freshly laundered, undamaged and worthy of giving to a friend. Bringing your own rail to hang your items is encouraged.
Key Rules & Mechanics

• Quality Control: Items must be in good, wearable condition, free from rips, broken zips, stains, or excessive wear.
• The Big Reveal: Drop off clothes, then wait for a set time, relax at Banana Block, The bar will be open and so will HiBurger for food, as well as Streetfood Atelier outside Boundary. Feel free to grab a snack or a drink while items are hung up and displayed before the fashion begins.
• The Token System: One-for-One: For every item you bring, you receive one token to "buy" a new-to-you item.
• To keep things fair we respect Tiered Value: Designer or high-value items earn more points (e.g., High Street = 1 point, Designer = 3 points).
• Item Limits: We invite you to donate no more than 12 quality items to keep things from over crowding.
• Try-on Rules: Nothing can be taken until the swap officially opens, though browsing and trying on in provided spaces is encouraged.
• Leftovers: Unswapped items are often donated to charity or clothing banks

General Guidelines

• What to bring: Clothes, accessories, and shoes are standard. We're also inviting art and home decor.
• Presentation: Bringing items on hangers and in good condition is recommended to ensure a successful, high-quality event but not a disqualifier.
