Last year's show marks 11 years of incredible gigs for us, and it was awesome we got to finish it on a high with an outpouring of support from you all.
Organising the festival takes a lot out of us, and right now at Swingamajig HQ we are focusing on creating new music with Electric Swing Circus, C@ In The H@, Big Band of Boom and Ragtime Records.
So although we said we'd take some time off to focus on other things, an old friend at Wave Promotions got in touch to discuss doing an event in 2025 down in Bristol. Over the last 10 years they've been putting on Electric Swing Circus shows, but this time wanted to do something a little bit bigger, something like an all-dayer filled with incredible live music, something a little bit more Swingamajig ;)
While this is not the full Swingamajig Festival experience with the cabaret, market, and swing dancing; we will be bringing you the best live music you would find at a Swingamajig Festival. This is a great opportunity for us, and we can't wait to bring the show to the Fleece in Bristol. We'll be taking care of the creative side of things, and our friends at Wave Promotions will be taking care of everything else. It is a great chance for us to get creative with the programming but take a back seat from all the energy-draining logistics that forced us to take a break this year.
So in association with Wave Promotions we are very excited to announce the Swingamajig Bristol All-dayer!

ESC bring the 1920s to the 2020s with their innovative brand of synth pop and electro swing. Their soaring pop vocals, jazz instrumentation and pulsing electronics feel both 100 years in the making and completely fresh. The live set up includes electric double bass, vintage samples, gypsy-jazz guitar, keys, drums, synths and electro beats. Drawing on a huge range of influences, from Balkan, Folk and Ska to Rock, Metal and Dub (plus plenty in between), festival favourites Mr Tea and the Minions create incredibly energetic, original music to make you literally dance your socks off!
Led by Elle’s powerful vocals and Lucy’s vibrant folk fiddle, the band are releasing 3 brand new songs that are among their strongest to date and have been going down a storm at their extravagantly colourful, theatrical live performances.
The band treat the audience as co-conspirators and every show is about collectively having the best time possible, with MTATM contributing incredible amounts of energy, dancing wildly and most importantly having amazing fun doing it!

That’s the ethos that The Rin Tins have kept since their inception in early 2011 and since then the sextet have strutted from one stage to another playing high octane gypsy swing to the party hard masses.
These festival veterans have appeared on stages at Glastonbury, Shambala, Boomtown, WOMAD as well as Sömmersound Festival in Hamburg and headlining Fokus Festival in Görlitz, Germany.
With music that combines harmonies with swing jazz rhythms and pounding oompa beats, for the past 10 years The Rin Tins have been filling dance floors and festival tents across Europe.
