Acoustic duo Swallowtail Cousin pairs Tony Purnell, a veteran of the Tampa Bay music scene, with passionate songwriter Liz Alden.
Their chemistry peppers a modern Americana that weaves together love and loss, traffic, sandwiches, and the International Space Station.
In their brief collaboration they’ve been featured at the Farm Aid Tampa Bay music festival, Tampa Union Station Train Day, and Safety Harbor Holiday Nights. Both are accomplished songwriters with Alden’s two albums on all streaming platforms and Purnell’s band Four-Star Riot placing a song in the first Deadpool movie.
