This course is the first step in delivering 'LEGO®-based Therapy' in your school.
Join us for an interactive session where we will explore 'LEGO®-based Therapy' - An evidence-based approach which can be used to develop a child's language and social communication skills, in the areas of:
- Listening to and following instructions from others
- Giving instructions to others using clear, specific language
- Asking for clarification if they have not understood
- Focussing on an activity when it is another’s turn
- Staying within a role which contributes to completing a project with others as a team
- Problem-solving
- Sharing and turn-taking

Who is it for?
School staff (teachers, teaching assistants, SENCOs) in the London Borough of Islington. This course is aimed at school staff who work with Key Stage 1 and 2 children who require support in the above areas and who will be running the intervention in school.
