This course is the first step in delivering 'LEGO®-based Therapy' in your school.

Join us for an interactive session where we will explore 'LEGO®-based Therapy' - An evidence-based approach which can be used to develop a child's language and social communication skills, in the areas of:

Listening to and following instructions from others
Giving instructions to others using clear, specific language
Asking for clarification if they have not understood
Focussing on an activity when it is another’s turn
Staying within a role which contributes to completing a project with others as a team
Problem-solving
Sharing and turn-taking

Who is it for?

School staff (teachers, teaching assistants, SENCOs) in the London Borough of Islington. This course is aimed at school staff who work with Key Stage 1 and 2 children who require support in the above areas and who will be running the intervention in school.
