About this Event
Event Description:
Join us for an engaging and collaborative session focused on understanding the various forms of trauma that impact individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. This Clinical Education Team (CET) meeting will explore the different ways trauma manifests, its effects on individuals and families, and strategies for providing compassionate and effective support services.
In addition to expert insights, we invite attendees to actively participate by sharing their own experiences, perspectives, and suggestions as we discuss a deidentified case. Your contributions will help deepen our understanding and enhance our collective approach to supporting those affected by trauma in neurodevelopmental disabilities.
Who Should Attend:
This event is ideal for healthcare providers, mental health professionals, educators, social workers, and community members who work with or support individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities and trauma. We encourage participants to come ready to share their insights and learn from one another.
