About this Event
It's London Marathon Week! Join us at the ASICS House London for an early doors 5km run, followed by optional runner's yoga. You're welcome to join us just for the run, or for the run and yoga, with complimentary coffee from Minor Figures after. We'll hope to be wrapped by latest 8:30 for anyone who needs to head to work. Whether you're running the marathon or not, ANYONE and EVERYONE is welcome to lace up with us, no matter how experienced or speedy. Stay in the loop at @sunnierunners on IG.
THE PLAN for THURSDAY 23 APRIL
MEET: 7.00 am at ASICS HOUSE LONDON, Kachette Annex - 1 Kingsland Rd, London E2 8AA
RUN: Sunnie Runners head off on a social 5km shakeout run.
YOGA: 30 minute post-run yoga (tickets essential)
APRÉS: Join us for pre-work coffee from the Minor Figures team.
Please note there is a bag drop available at this event, so you can head straight to work if you need to.
WHY 5K?
5km is the most popular race distance in the world. It's also the milestone every newbie runner aims for. We want to create a community where you feel comfortable to challenge yourself.
If you're a total newbie, please don't be put off. Think of this run as a 1km warm up, a 3km run, and a 1km cool down. We'll be there to guide you, push and pull back whenever you need us to. If you need to walk at any point - we promise you won't be left behind.
I DON'T HAVE A TICKET, CAN I LACE UP WITH YOU?
Sadly, no. We have ticketed our Lace Up Club to manage numbers so our lovely friends at ASICS HOUSE LONDON don't get overwhelmed with orders. Keep up to date with more Lace Up Club dates on @sunnierunners IG.
