Join artist John Zerbe to help create the newest public art in the neighborhood. As part of Philadelphia's Semiquincentennial, Mural Arts Tacony LAB is partnering with The Sunflower Farm at Pennypack, to create a colorful fence line artwork at Heroic Gardens located at Megargee and Torresdale. We want your input for this exciting artwork. Light refreshments will be provided.
The Sunflower Farm at Pennypack, powered by Heroic Gardens, is a vibrant community space where U.S. Veterans, families, and neighbors come together to grow, heal, and connect. What began as a vacant lot is now a flourishing landscape of sunflowers, fresh produce, and shared purpose—offering Veterans a restorative, horticultural-therapy–informed environment while creating a welcoming, beautiful gathering place for the entire community.
