Lyssa Mandel Bio:
I am a writer/seeker/comedian/actor, studying to be a somatic therapist (am currently between school years). In this limbo between lifetimes, transforming from performer to healer, I've loaded up my plate with ancient wisdom (astrology, tarot, movement, breathwork) as well as modern advances (the nervous system, trauma-informed therapy).
I have a decade of experience in hospitality, as well as several years producing, marketing, and hosting events, from comedy shows to non-profit galas. I've also spent the past two years facilitating spontaneous writing workshops, creating safe spaces in which creativity can flourish. I'm also in the process of developing workshops with fellow creatives to help people connect to their expression through a rich relationship with body and spirit.
