Sultan Stevenson still, at the tender age of 24 has captivated the jazz scene with his incredible performances and original musical compositions.Over the last 3-4 years he has emerged as the future superstar of the jazz world. He has played sold-out shows around London and the south of England. He also toured in Ireland in October 2023 to great acclaim and now, as we enter 2025 he is set to conquer Europe with huge demand from Festivals and clubs.
Sultan's momentum shows no signs of slowing. He earned prestigious showcase slots at SXSW in Texas as part of the jazz Re:freshed 'outernational' event. Additionally, he performed a Jazzahead Showcase in Germany, Brick Lane Jazz Festival, and the sold-out Cheltenham Jazz Festival. Sultan’s debut album, Faithful One helped to earn him a Parliamentary Jazz Award in 2023 for best newcomer. Now Sultan has signed with the prestigious label Edition Records and will release El Roi in March 2025. An album critics are already calling “... a gigantic step forward…”
