About this Event
This workshop delivered by acclaimed Chilean writer Andrea Jeftanovic looks to explore the constructive and technical possibilities of the narrative from images, photographs and materials. Sometimes we think that writing is something abstract and verbal, but it also comes from personal or uncanny images .
Its methodology will consist of producing micro stories from "trigger" images, photographs, files and materials to train in the exercise of looking, focusing, moving away, editing, mounting, detail, wide angle, portrait mode; just like we do in photography. It will be complemented with texts that talk about this relationship between photography and writing.
During the session, visual materials will be offered to stimulate writing in situ around tangible or suggestive images to create texts that condense, in its brevity, multiple meanings.
It is requested to bring a notebook and pencils or computer.
Language: The workshop will be offered in Spanish but it can be written in Spanish or English and read in both languages.
