About this Event
Why is this Grenache all the way over there, has anyone tried it recently? Here at Theatre of Wine we curate our shelves by the style of the wine rather than by region, forcing us to tune our brains and palates to what is in the bottle rather than what’s on the label. Does that oaky Chardonnay overpower the rich Chenin Blanc? How tannic was that Chianti really?
From velvet to tannic, savoury age to intense fruit, tonight we offer a snapshot of the richer wines on the shelves, comparing neighbours and mirrors among our full-bodied wines.
Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste 6-8 wines on a theme, and bread, cheese and charcuterie is provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
