On Thursday and Friday, January 29-30th, Temple University’s School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management, in collaboration with the United Women’s Ball Hockey Foundation, is hosting the second annual Strong Women, Strong Sport Think Tank.Join us to celebrate National Girls and Women and Sport Day and be a part of a collaborative event bringing industry and academia together to provide an opportunity to engage in critical conversations and action steps around growing experiences for girls and women in sport.
The focus of these sessions will be capacity building for participating stakeholders, including strengthening relationships between organizations, skill development, and an understanding of how to translate research into practice. Throughout the day there will be opportunities for networking, collaboration, and relationship building with a goal of continued growth for girls and women to participate and work in sport.
