About this Event
Some evenings you leave feeling exactly the same as you arrived. This isn't one of them. Strong As Sh*t is a one-night event hosted by Train Yard for women who are done being told the gym is a place to shrink. It's not. It's a place to get strong — and there's a difference.
We start the way we mean to go on. A 50-minute class, Train Yard style — full body, strength focused and built for all levels. Whether you've never touched a barbell or you deadlift for fun, you're in the right place. We're not here to burn calories. We're here to build strength (and have fun).
Then a quick breather so you can freshen up, grab a drink (hello wine) and a few tasty snacks whilst chatting with fellow guests.
We finish the evening with a panel discussion — and this is the bit we're most excited about. The panel will include Dr Alex Law, a clinical psychologist specialising in relationship with food and body image, Emily Neill, Personal Trainer and Coach specialising in working with women who are struggling with their hormones and Jaz Flaxman, Owner of Train Yard, Personal Trainer and Reformer Instructor.
Real women, real conversation, on the topics the fitness industry does not talk about enough: body image, confidence lifting weights, women's hormones, and what genuinely feeling good in both your body and mind looks like. Not the highlight reel. The real stuff.
