About this Event
Join us to strategise how we build the leverage necessary to pushback against escalating imperialist and Zionist violence.
This event will be a panel and Q&A discussion with trade unionists who have found creative ways to include Palestine in workplace disputes.
Where: Oxford House, E2 6GH
When: Thursday 7th May, 7pm
Speakers:
Nick Troy - National Chair, Unite Hospitality
Katie Leslie - PCS, Civil Service
Jamie Woodcock - Branch Chair, Kings College London UCU
We must develop strategies that will help us gain the power necessary to enforce our demands. This means the workplace is central, as it is where we have the most leverage against the ruling class.
The state has imposed significant restrictions on our ability to legally act through our trade unions, however workarounds exist. Join us for a discussion on these workarounds and how we can take industrial action for Palestine.
