This mat series invites participants to stretch like a Yogi, strengthen the core, and access your BODY POWER thru full body movements.
About this Event

Access your BODY-POWER & HEALING! 3Arts Chicago two time award winning movement teaching artist Lady Sol will lead and encourage this on-going drop in mat series. We invite you to stretch like a Yogi, strengthen the core, and MOVE towards a mindful body and spirit that provides self-relief, self-empowerment, and resilience for living.

These sessions are on a yoga mat and utilize body weight. Participants must be able to access the mat and hold their own body weight, however movement modifications are available and we can provide chairs in which some (not all) of the exercises and movements can be accessed sitting on a chair. Room will be lightly scented with lavender aromatherapy. Room can accommodate up to 5 persons (small, intimate group). Mat, water, and towels provided.
