Scribe Video Center presents the 28th annual year of Street Movies! This film screening and performance series tours outdoor community spaces across Philadelphia every August with a program of independent short films from local, national, and international filmmakers, curated in partnership with neighborhood-based organizations. All events are family-friendly and open to the public.

Giant Steps dir. John Coltrane Cultural Society (10 mins)
This vibrant video takes its name from the seminal album legendary jazz saxophonist Coltrane released in January 1960, the first album devoted entirely to his own compositions and which bore the double-edged sword of furthering the cause of the music as well as delivering it to an increasingly mainstream audience.
